THE HOOPES SISTERS COLLECTION
Original Alice and Jerry Illustrations
One of the largest known surviving collections of original illustrations created by Florence and Margaret Hoopes for the iconic Alice and Jerry educational readers. Used in classrooms throughout the United States from the 1930s through the 1960s, the series sold nearly 100 million copies and helped generations of children learn to read.
